Dear Frances,
In a recent article about the the health of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro you said: This week Alarcon said to foreign correspondents in Havana that Castro would be in "great shape" to run for president of the Council of State, his official title.
I was wondering if you would mind doing an article about a potential opponent for the "election"? The opponent that I have in mind is Afro-Cuban prisoner of conscience Oscar Elias Biscet. Some supporters of his candidacy have already set up a blog on his behalf. I suppose that it's only fair to provide equal time in an election of such magnitude. So what do you say? Is it a deal?
Most Sincerely,
Henry Gomez
