HAVANA, March 29 (Fara Armenteros, UPECI) - Political prisoner Oscar Elías Biscet was transferred from his prison cell Saturday night to State Security headquarters and his home was searched Sunday morning.

Biscet had been held at the Combinado del Este prison, east of Havana, since his arrest December 6.

Sunday morning, nine officers from the Department of State Security searched his home. Biscet's wife, Elsa Morejón, said they took a personal computer, a printer, personal photographs, a fax machine, and personal documents.
